Its 32X total zoom (8X optical and 4X digital) power lets you see even distant subjects up close, while Rapid Autofocusing captures them in an instant. The CxProcess II image processing technology controls the essential image qualities of color, contrast, and sharpness while minimizing noise. The camera comes equipped with a Switch Finder that shows you precisely the same live image in the viewfinder or on the 1.5-inch TFT LCD monitor. The 3.2-megapixel, 1/2.5 inch CCD generates fine details for creating high-quality enlargements. For added flexibility and convenience, the flash button can be customized to handle different settings. This means that instead of going through the menus on the LCD monitor, you can use the flash button to change settings like drive mode, white balance, focus mode, color mode, or sensitivity. The email copy function makes a 640x480 pixels JPEG copy of an image onto the memory card so that it can be easily transferred over the Internet. The DiMAGE Z10 can record movies without sound.
